Welcome to my Blog. I want to take a minute to make this blog to get Real with the politics that are being deseminated. Our country has had many challenges, but just because somebody says "are we in a recession?", does that mean that Uncle Sam needs to ante up with a Tax Rebate, or stimulus plan? Sure I would like a few hundred dollars to spend, and make me happier with my Government, but didn't I read last week that we are Trillions of Dollars in Debt to foreign countries. Don't we have some energy problems, and other problems that have needed attention for a long time?
I think the criticizing of our governments so strongly by the presidential candidates have given everybody such a complex that we now think, " wow, we must be in a recession".
The Republicans are wrong because they said, this or that. The Fed doesn't know what they are talking about.
Well, it is complecated, and as things unfold, the experts are better able to say what the consequences will be.
Don't criticize the experts for not forseeing the future.
The stock market wants to know what's going to happen, who doesn't.
It would be nice to have a political leader who understands the economy, instead of just relying on experts to tell him/her what is important.
